Pre-Export Requirements: Building the Foundation

Before a pet can leave Bangkok, several medical and identification milestones must be met. Our team ensures that every step is performed in the correct sequence to ensure international acceptance.

• **Microchipping:** The VERY FIRST step. Your pet must have a 15-digit ISO-compliant microchip. Importantly, this chip must be implanted *before* the rabies vaccination to be valid in regions like the EU or Australia.
• **Vaccination Standardization:** While many Thai vets provide standard shots, international export requires specific documentation of Rabies and DHPP/DHPPL. We verify that all records are up to date and correctly formatted in English.
• **Rabies Titer (Blood) Testing:** For "strictly regulated" countries like the UK, EU, Japan, or Australia, a rabies titer test is mandatory. We coordinate the blood draw, ship the sample to an OIE-approved laboratory, and manage the mandatory waiting periods (often 3 to 6 months).

Official Documentation: The Export License

The heart of any Thai pet export is the **Export License** issued by the Suvarnabhumi Airport Animal Quarantine Station (AQS). This document certifies that the animal is healthy and authorized by the Department of Livestock Development (DLD) to leave the country.

Air Travel Logistics: Crate & Cargo
